My BACKGROUND

Born in Reading in the UK, at a very young age I took an interest in music, playing in various rock bands and  enjoyed the feeling of community within these groups.

Knowing music was something I wanted to pursue, I chose to study music and sound tech at Portsmouth University. With the huge amount of creative talent at the university it was easy to grow as a musician.

In my second year I attended a 'Distant Worlds' concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London, this was a great experience and completely changed the way that I viewed music. Hungry for knowledge of this great adventurous, fantasy style I worked under the training and guidance of composer Leon Willett, over the years I learned about the world of orchestral scoring for both games and film.

I am now working as a freelance musician, publishing work under Plan 8 Music and more recently working with BMG Production Music.
